Did you know that your obedience to God determines the length of your days and affects your peace and prosperity? In Proverbs 3:1-2,  
[1 My son, do not forget my teaching; but keep my commands in your heart, 2 for they will prolong your life many years and bring you peace and prosperity.] we can see that God desires for us be committed, devoted to living according to His standards. In doing so, we reap the benefits of having a long life, dwelling in His peace and living in sustained prosperity.
We all must remember to lay aside all things that are not pleasing to God, for He knows what is best for us. God knows what is required to secure our future and the plan that He has for us; in this truth we must trust.  
God will not withhold any good thing from those that live to honor Him. Psalm 84:11 [11For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does He withhold from those whose walk is blameless.] Let’s all be determined to live in victory and spiritual freedom, hiding God’s word in our heart; for it is our very protection and substance for our lives.
