SUP With Me: Words of Inspiration (KIDS’ EDITION)
Genesis 21:1-2 NIV
1 Now the Lord was gracious to Sarah as he had promised. 2 Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, at the very time God had promised him.
In this scripture we see that Abraham and Sarah wanted a son but they had to wait to get their child that they wanted. In order for them to wait they had to have faith that God would fulfill his promise and give them a son. So, that’s what they did. This is a great example for us because God may promise us something but we might have to wait for a long time and we have to have that faith. So, I hoped you received this message to have faith with what God is going to do, no matter how long it may take.
