Staying with a Heart of Readiness for the Day of the Lord is Coming

The Lord’s Love toward us is so great and His Grace and Mercy is so pure, that He desires that no one should perish, but in fact He wants all to know who He is and desires for all to have a relationship with Him!

II Peter 3:9-10

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

There is no denying, Christ Jesus will return as it is written in II Peter 3:9-10, and for this very reason we must not delay in submitting our hearts to Him. When we do this, we do not become helpless, but we gain strength, boldness and courage to pursue the true purpose that God has created us for. We feel empowered to live as Holy and Righteous as the Lord desires before the world, for in due time when He returns, He is seeking to find us without spot and blameless as stated in II Peter 3:14. (14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.)

However, in order for us to fulfill the will of God, we must submit ourselves to Him denying our selfish desires, lust and wants, and exchanging the paths of wickedness for the paths of righteousness.

Allow God to make you over from head to toe, I promise His attire is more befitting and would look so good on you! Be ready, Be found being Faithful to God, Let no one and nothing take you from God’s will for your life!
