Spending Time with God in Secret

SUP With Me: Words of Inspiration (Kids’ Edition)

Matthew 6:6
⁶ But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

In this scripture it tells us to basically spend time with God. In this time with God, we talk to Him, we can do this with prayer. We also can read our bible; God can speak to us with His word. We have to spend time with God because He might need to prepare us for a situation in the future. In addition, we have to spend time with God constantly. When we think we’re busy, we’re really not because we can push that video game time out of the way, we can push that news on the TV out of the way, we can even spend time with God with family.

Also, this scripture tells us how to spend time with God. It says to pray behind closed doors, this means God wants us to pray to Him in secret. When you pray in secret, God will reward you. So, I hope you take this scripture in and spend time with God in secret so he will reward you openly.
