SUP With Me: Words of Inspiration
In this world there are many impurities that surround us and compete for our attention daily. The presence of these impurities are evident in many ways through; people, selfish ungodly motives, television, impure music, impure tactics in social media, impure books tainted with deceptive thoughts, tainted conversations and vain imaginations. All of these contaminate the minds of the young and old through the operating spirit of perversion leading to the unfaithfulness of God’s people.
Did you know that the adversary, the enemy, satanic one, the devil, lucifer, the spirit of darkness, is in operation working hard to invade the lives of many and to keep many in his captivity? Satan desires to hinder the implantation of God’s word into the hearts of His people, so that God’s purpose will not be manifested in and through us. He wants us to be consumed and overwhelmed with the lustful desires of the world, ourselves, and to lose all hope of ever being free. The enemy does this in hopes that we will never obtain or come to, the truth of the Lord’s beautiful and wonderful plans for our lives. In short, Satan’s job is to keep you and I from our creator, “Jehovah Bore”, and His truth of our identity and what He has created us for.
1 Peter 5:8-9 “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your fellow believers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.”
1 Peter 5:8-9
Let’s began today with identifying what Impurities are. I like the Cambridge Dictionary definition that states:

Examples:
1.) Impurities are removed from the blood by the kidneys.
2.) The impurity of the water is a health risk.
As we can see, impurities can have a major impact on vital organs if not purged from our bodies, and can lead to various medical effects such as infection, high blood pressure, headaches, body aches, fatigue, mental effects, and many more. The same impact is possible and detrimental to our spiritual wellness. Impurities in our spirit can lead to destructive behaviors, unrighteous actions, toxic relationships, mismanagement of the blessings God has provided us, and overall confusion and instability.
Our safe defense and stability of remaining pure is found in God’s word, which is the source of purification for our spirit. No relationship with the savior means no defense against contaminants and impurities of life itself. Jesus is the strong tower and the power of His truth and spirit aids us in living life in abundance at the level in which God intended for His people from the creation of the earth.
1 John 3:8 But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil.
