SUP With Me: Words of Inspiration (KIDS‘ EDITION)
In these scriptures, John received instructions from Jesus to write to the church in Laodicea through a vision. In verses 20-22, Jesus stated, “20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.“
This means Jesus wants a relationship with us. Also, when Jesus knocks that means He’s trying to get our attention. In addition, when we answer Jesus, we open our hearts inviting Him in to let His Holy Spirit lead us and guide us so we can focus on Him, living in obedience to do God’s will. So, I hope you receive this message so you can open the door and have a great relationship with Jesus. If you have not accepted Jesus in your heart, you can now so you too can have a relationship with Him.
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
