Impossible by Man but Made Possible by God.
Galatians 1:4 NLT "Jesus gave His life for our sins, just as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live."
This truth is very inspiring, it gives hope and enlightens us to a whole new way of living.
Let’s look at God’s perspective on life for those who choose to believe in His son Jesus:
The Lord does not want us to simply exist. He wants us to pursue what He desires, that we may thrive and achieve in the work that He has established for us to do.
Jesus uses an illustration to explain to the people who He was and His purpose and desired relationship between Him and those who will follow Him.
John 10:7-11 (NLT)
7 “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. 9 Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. 10 The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep.”
JESUS is the TRUTH, the WAY and the LIFE! We were created by God not for ourselves. In order to experience the rich and satisfying life that He has spoken of, we must follow Him because He is the Way! True living and not simply existing comes with a sacrifice from us as well. We must be willing to except the fact that we are the creation and not the creator. God knows what is best for our lives, in fact He has already seen it, from birth to death and everything in between. His ways are perfect and pure, we can see this in the scriptures that we just read. Apart from God we cannot do anything, but with Him ALL things are possible. Paul, an Apostle of Christ Jesus, stated it best in Philippians 4:13 (NLT) when he said, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”
Mission Possible: are you ready to Go?
Life was never meant to be impossible for us, in fact, it is possible to face every obstacle, to stare every mountain in the face and know that it must move, to endure every doctor’s report and believe without any doubt that the creator of our body has already seen and healed us. We can speak to the spirit of depression, suicide, anxiety, fear, anger, perverse minds, disobedience and declare that the blood of Jesus Christ our savior has come to set us free, and we do not have to be bound. In Galatians 5:1 & 13, Paul the Apostle reminds of this truth 1 “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” (KJV) 13 For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature.” (NLT)
Our obedience, our acceptance of the finished work that Christ Jesus has done to make us free from sin, free from all types of bondage, our Faith, our hope and belief, our soul, and our submission, is what Christ Jesus wants from us that we may live and experience the missions that are possible and created by Him!
